May Membership Meeting

Interested in hearing from someone who has argued in front of the U.S. Supreme Court about dismantling Obamacare?

We invite you to join us at 7PM this Monday, May 18th for cookies and coffee at the Historic Hanover Tavern for our May Membership Meeting with guest speaker Sam Kazman, general counsel for the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI). CEI is the the organization behind King v. Burwell, the litigation challenging Obamacare’s subsidies of federally established state health insurance exchanges.

This special event is FREE for all 2015 Middle Resolution Members with a suggested donation of $10 for non-members.

The plaintiffs in King v. Burwell represent the millions of Americans harmed by mandates and penalties that are triggered by the federal Obamacare subsidies, which should not apply in the nonparticipating states. These injuries include lost jobs, higher insurance costs, and increased taxes. Oral arguments for the case recently took place before the U.S. Supreme Court. A ruling is expected this summer, which could have dramatic consequences for the future of Obamacare.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from one of the architects of this monumental Supreme Court case. Kazman’s op-eds and articles on Obamacare have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Washington Post, and National Review. He has also appeared on nationally broadcast programs such as The Today Show, Stossel, and Washington Journal.

We look forward to seeing you at 7pm this Monday, May 18th at Historic Hanover Tavern, located at 13181 Hanover Courthouse Rd. Come, bring your friends, and get informed about the ramifications of the impending King v. Burwell decision for you, your family, our state, and this Nation.
