Once the government enters into the business of regulating our health care, you know disaster is right around the corner. Case in point, Obamacare has caused more headaches for Americans than most would have ever imagined. Medicaid expansion continues to be debated with no end in sight.
Will there be a light at the end of the tunnel for Americans struggling to afford quality health care without continued overreach?
If our leaders would use the common sense and knowledge they were blessed with, then they could see the light of relying on the free market to help address the overwhelmingly high costs of health care. Case in point, John Stossel recently wrote an op-ed for Reason Magazine detailing how free market solutions could help drive down the costs of health care and help eliminate single payer anything.
One line that keeps resonating from his article, “When government is in charge, you get long lines and someone else deciding if you get treatment.”
There is no doubt that we need leaders who recognize that limited government and free market solutions are the ways to help Americans. In 2016, we have the opportunity to get the message out to fellow free market Conservatives and empower them to become actively involved. We cannot afford to set idle!
